Tribute to Gasper Noe
Controversial, totally unique and critically debated, Enter The Void seeks to emulate the effects of DMT, a psychoactive substance associated with death, after-life and out-of-body experiences. Referencing the Tibetan Book of the Dead, Enter the Void takes the audience on a hallucinogenic trip within the streets of Tokyo's urban environment.
Set in the neon-lit nightclub environments of Tokyo, the story follows Oscar, a young American drug dealer who gets shot by the police, but continues to watch subsequent events during an out-of-body experience.
“Gaspar Noé is one of the very few directors who is actually trying to do something new with the medium, battling at the boundaries of the possible. [ ] Enter the Void is utterly original film-making” — THE GUARDIAN
