Goodmesh Concours 2022: Live Final Round

The Goodmesh Concours
At the Artistic agency Goodmesh, based in The Hague, we create events and initiatives for artists and audiences to be more open towards interdisciplinary art. We created a "Goodmesh Concours", a contest where musical artists must collaborate with (non-musical) artists and create a performance based on a theme. With the last 2 editions, we've received applications from thousands of artists around the globe, representing over 60 art forms, which was really exciting and inspiring to see so many incredible interdisciplinary performances! 

With such a promising premise, we're continuing with the third edition in 2022. 

There are two main rules to enter the Goodmesh Concours:
-To combine Music with another art form (Visual Art, Dance, Theater…)
-To create a performance based on a theme. The theme of 2022: “FISH”

So far, we have received applications from over 45 countries representing over 150 musical instruments and art forms.

The first part of the Concours will be held online and the jury selects 5 groups to showcase their performances live on stage.
The contestants will get a chance to win over 25.000€ in prizes, one of which will be awarded by you - the Audience Prize.

Het Goodmesh Concours
Bij het Haagse artistieke bureau Goodmesh creëren we evenementen en initiatieven voor kunstenaars en publiek om meer open te staan voor interdisciplinaire kunst. We creëerden een "Goodmesh Concours", een wedstrijd waarbij muzikale artiesten moeten samenwerken met (niet-muzikale) artiesten en een voorstelling moeten maken op basis van een thema. Met de laatste 2 edities hebben we aanvragen ontvangen van duizenden kunstenaars over de hele wereld die meer dan 60 kunstvormen vertegenwoordigen, wat echt opwindend en inspirerend was om zoveel ongelooflijke interdisciplinaire uitvoeringen te zien!

Met zo'n veelbelovend uitgangspunt gaan we in 2022 verder met de derde editie.

Er zijn twee hoofdregels om deel te nemen aan het Goodmesh Concours:
-Muziek combineren met een andere kunstvorm (Beeldende Kunst, Dans, Theater...)
-Een voorstelling maken op basis van een thema. Het thema van 2022: "FISH"

Tot nu toe hebben we aanvragen ontvangen uit meer dan 45 landen die meer dan 150 muziekinstrumenten en kunstvormen vertegenwoordigen.

Het eerste deel van het Concours wordt online gehouden en de jury selecteert 5 groepen om hun optredens live op het podium te presenteren.
De deelnemers maken kans op meer dan € 25.000 aan prijzen, waarvan er één door jou wordt uitgereikt - de Publieksprijs.
